Lone Tree Colorado Homes For Sale and Lone Tree Realty
Tucked in at the far south end of the Denver area is a little city called Lone Tree. Though it is closer to Castle Rock than it is to downtown Denver, Lone Tree still enjoys many of the conveniences of the Denver metro, including the RTD bus system, the Light Rail services and close proximity to I-25 and E-470, all of which can take you quickly to other metro area cities like Centennial, Littleton and Aurora. Lone Tree is one of the smallest suburbs, with a population of just over 10,000 and an area of only 9.54 square miles, but despite its small size, Lone Tree is a complete and active community with all the big-city benefits.
Please refer back to our home page for more information on other Denver Metro cities.
In addition to being one of Denver’s smallest suburbs, Lone Tree is also one of the newest. Lone Tree was incorporated in 1995 and the city has since annexed several key areas, notably, the area containing Sky Ridge Medical Center and the area of Park Meadows Shopping Center.
Park Meadows is arguably the nicest mall in Colorado. It’s a mall fancy enough to have its own valet service, and to house stores like Williams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, and the Apple Store. The walkways include fireplaces, tables and luxurious couches for patrons. Nice wooden staircases lead between the two floors, and in the center of the mall you can find Majestic Springs, a waterfall display and wishing well. Even the dining area has more than your average mall, and high ceilings with wooden rafters and hanging yellow lamps give the dining area a banquet hall feel.
The area around the Park Meadows mall is noteworthy in its own right, with big stores like Costco and Linen’s and Things and a selection of restaurants and bars. This is Lone Tree’s Entertainment District. And if shopping and dining aren’t your idea of a good time, there’s also an AMC movie theater or, for the adventurous soul, an Indoor Skydiving arena. Whatever your pleasure, Lone Tree’s diverse selection will have you covered.

The City of Lone Tree provides clear and convenient signs around the city that will point you to places like the Entertainment District. These are tall green signs with the City of Lone Tree symbol and they are a great resource for finding your way around your new city. Follow the signs to find the public library at Yosemite and Lone Tree Parkway. Then follow the parkway just a bit further and you’ll find Cook Creek Park and Pool, and the Civic Center. If you’re looking for open space, signs will point you south to Bluff’s Regional Park, a 253 acre park for hiking or horseback riding, or north to the active Sweetwater Park where you can find playing fields or meet up with a walking trail.
Lone Tree’s city motto is It’s a great day to be in Lone Tree! One reason it might be a good day to be in Lone Tree is if it’s a Friday night and you’re heading out to see a free show by the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra, a group comprised of local volunteer musicians. The Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra is funded by the City of Lone Tree and the Lone Tree Arts Council, proving that this is a community dedicated to promoting the arts. The City of Lone Tree also funds the Colorado Stage Company (a theater group), and several public art projects, including The Illusion of Man, a perception-bending sculpture designed by local high school students at the Lone Tree Recreation Center. Or it might be a good day to be in Lone Tree because it’s the 4th of July, and the whole neighborhood is on its way to Sweetwater Park to watch fireworks, get face paintings and pet goats at the petting zoo. Or if it’s one of the Dog Days of Summer, and you’re taking your pooch to show off his frisbee-catching skills and visit the mobile pet spa. These and other activities make Lone Tree a truly unique place to live: a growing and exciting city of the future. This small city perched on the edge of the big city will give you the best of both worlds.

Do you know what’s the #1 MISTAKE people make and the #1 COMPLAINT to the Colorado Real Estate Commission when buying or selling Lone Tree Colorado homes for sale?
It might shock you, but the answer is that there was confusion on the Purchase Contract and the Buyers or the Sellers got “screwed financially” because they didn’t understand or were not clear on the Contract they had just signed! What's amazing is that only a small fraction of those complaints were filed against experienced Lone Tree Colorado real estate agents and Realtors. The majority of the complaints in 2007 and the majority of people who get pissed during and after the closing used inexperienced or part-time Lone Tree real estate agents - or NO Lone Tree Realtor at all.
Wouldn’t you want experienced Lone Tree Colorado real estate agents sticking up for YOUR legal rights when the Sellers or Buyers decides to try to “screw you over” financially - or if there’s a problem on the mortgage loan or closing? Did I mention that I’ve personally closed nearly $100 million in real estate and mortgage loan transactions…and have always been able to negotiate or resolve every single problem we’ve encountered since 1998. I’m not saying that to brag, but instead to let you know that a professional Lone Tree Realtors and Denver Colorado real estate agents representing your rights and helping you is absolutely mandatory, especially when problems come up!
Tell me about what price range of homes you're interested in and what part of town you want to buy in? Buying and selling Lone Tree Colorado real estate is much more profitable when you hire me and when you send me the email form here...
