Education
Aurora has a top notch education system with public and private schools. There is the Aurora Colorado Public School District and the Cherry Creek School District depending on the neighborhoods. The Aurora public school district offers 31 elementary schools, seven middle schools and four high schools and has been operating for over 110 years. The Cherry Creek School District includes 40 elementary schools, 12 middle schools and 7 high schools, each with top notch education and sports programs.
Aurora is home to the private high school, Regis Jesuit, a Co-ed catholic school. Regis has a first class education program with two split schools, one for boys and one for girls. There are still Co-ed dances and top notch sports programs, but the main focus of Regis is on the best education that can be offered for its students.
Aurora host eight higher education centers, these include the Community College of Aurora and University of Denver Health Science Center at Fitzsimmons, a premier medical oriented college, which is an offshoot of the primary University of Colorado at Denver campus.
