Arvada CO Condos and Townhomes

Arvada Colorado real estate has nice homes, condos and townhomes for everyone.  Whether you’re a young couple, empty nesters, a family of four or a solo flyer - you won’t be disappointed if you choose Arvada as your new home.  As one of Denver’s older and mid-sized suburbs, it has a lot to offer buyers. Bracketed by Westminster to the north and east, Wheat Ridge to the south, Golden Colorado to the southwest and the rolling Rocky Mountain foothills to the west, Arvada covers an area of 32.7 square miles.  Please refer back to our home page for more information on this or Denver Metro cities.

Arvada Real Estate offers convenience to everything. On the eastern side of the city you’ll find yourself close to Arvada’s business district and only a stone’s throw away from Denver.  Interstates I-70, I-76, I-25 and Highway 36 are all close by, making it easy to travel to other parts of the Denver area.  But you’ll want a home on the west side if you’re looking for more of a country feel.  As you head toward the mountains in Arvada you’ll find fewer streets, more open space and less noise.  Small retail centers featuring standard stores and restaurants make sure you’re never inconvenienced by your location.

The most recent homes for Sales Statistics for Arvada Colorado real estate and homes for sale shows that Arvada had a .09% positive sales growth in 2007, with 14 more homes SOLD in 2007 than in 2006.  This was despite a flat market and the high number of Denver bank owned foreclosure homes for sale.  The median home prices fluctuated quite a bit, depending on the specific area or Arvada Colorado neighborhood.  Call me at (303) 588-4665 and I can help you go over this further; depending on the areas in Arvada that you're interested in?

Dangers exist if you're planning on buying Arvada Colorado real estate and new homes for sale, so please read this extremely important article I wrote:  The Top 25 Dangerous Situations in Buying Arvada and Denver Real Estate.

One of Arvada’s highlights is Olde Town Arvada.  This is one of the original metro area downtowns, earning it a place in the National Register of Historic Places.  Take Ralston Road off of Wadsworth and you’ll find a road called Olde Wadsworth that runs through the center of Olde Town.  Originally established in 1904, Olde Town Arvada is currently a shopping district housed in old brick buildings.  Free parking is provided for shoppers, and 19 panels can guide you on a walking tour if you want to know all about Arvada’s gold mining history.  There’s something for everyone, with stores as diverse as the Army Navy Surplus Store, Arvada Bead Connection, Quilted Moose Quilt Store, Steve’s Meat Market and Grandfather Cooperative Books.  In Olde Town Arvada you can also find Tarot Readings, a Pilates studio, a German bakery, a paint-your-own-pottery studio and the Jefferson County Public Library.  Or for entertainment, stop by for live Jazz at Bliss Café or music, pizza and art at D-Note.

For more arts and entertainment, check out the Arvada Center, on Wadsworth between 68th and 69th.  The Arvada Center houses twelve studio spaces for dance, music, art and photography.  Banquet Halls provide space for weddings, parties or meetings.  A little theater and an amphitheater host theatrical and musical productions; three art galleries showcase the work of local and national artists; the Arvada Center History Museum highlights Colorado history.  Outside the Center you’ll find a unique playground that boasts of being home to “Squiggles,” a large twisting “Seasaurus” for kids to climb on.  The Arvada Center also offers classes, and again, there’s something for everyone.  They offer Tots Dance, acting classes, painting for retirees, pottery, Hip Hop Dance, Conversational Spanish and even a wheelchair dance class.  The Center is supported by donations from local businesses and philanthropists, proving that Arvada is a community devoted to the arts.  There is even a scholarship fund for talented students of any age. Contact the Arvada Center for the complete list of events and affordable classes: 720-898-7200.

And if a strong religious community is important to you, then Arvada is a good choice— there are over 80 churches and other religious institutions within Arvada city limits.  Some are housed in their original historical incarnations, such as Saint Anne Catholic Church in Olde Town, and others are modern communities, both large and small.

Whether you want to learn to paint, play a round of golf, walk your dog or just have a good pizza & beer, Arvada has something for everyone.

Arvada CO Real Estate Information...

Do you know what’s the #1 MISTAKE people make and the #1 COMPLAINT to the Colorado Real Estate Commission when buying or selling Arvada CO real estate; especially buying Arvada new homes?

Shockingly, it’s that there was confusion on the Purchase Contract and the Buyers or Sellers got “screwed financially” because you didn’t understand or were not clear on the Contract you just signed!  What's amazing is that only a small fraction of those complaints were filed against experienced Arvada real estate agents or Realtors.  The majority of the complaints in 2007 and the majority of people who get pissed during and after the closing used inexperienced or part-time Arvada real estate agents - or NO Arvada Realtor at all (…especially buying new homes in Arvada Colorado!)

Wouldn’t you want experienced Arvada real estate agents sticking up for YOUR legal rights when the Sellers or Buyers decides to try to “screw you over” financially - or if there’s a problem on the mortgage loan?  Did I mention that I’ve personally closed nearly $100 million in real estate and mortgage loan transactions…and have always been able to negotiate or resolve every single problem we’ve encountered since 1998.  I’m not saying that to brag, but instead to let you know that a professional Arvada Realtors or Denver real estate agents representing your rights and helping you is absolutely mandatory, especially when problems come up!

Tell me about what price range of homes you're interested in and what part of town you want to buy in?   Buying and selling Arvada CO real estate is much more profitable when you hire me to represent you.

Thanks!
